Project - PETA Oakland, CA

In this project, we flew to Oakland and wired a location for up to 12 employees for voice and data.

The system is a Norstar CICS with Call Pilot 100; all lines, extensions and 1 fax machine were connected via a telco patch panel, the top panel in picture 1. Data ports for computers and network printer were wired below. The UPS is an APC 1500KVA; which should keep them up between 45 minutes to 1 hour in the event of a power failure. In addition to installation, we programmed and set up the system, the voice mail and Automated Attendant after wiring the office.

Arrived in Oakland on a Monday, the project was completed on Friday, and the use of the patch panels and extensive training and over-the-phone support has made this site self sufficient. Now if an expansion is needed a local telecom services company does the work. This client saved money by sending me instead of using a local provider!
